The School Advisory Council (SAC) is made up of parents and employees of Avalon Elementary School. The primary task of the SAC is to monitor the School Improvement Plan. The SAC meets four times a year: September to review the school goals and plan for the school year, January to review progress toward the goals, May to review test data and summer to discuss the plan for the following year. There is a SAC bulletin case located just outside of the school near the car rider area with the latest minutes and SAC information. The SAC welcomes comments, ideas and suggestions from parents.
